ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Management System Training Course
Course Description
This course provides a deep dive into ISO 14064, the international standard for quantifying, reporting, and verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It equips participants with the tools and methodologies to manage GHG inventories effectively, reduce carbon footprints, and support sustainability strategies. The training covers the three parts of the ISO 14064 standard—Part 1 (Organizational Level), Part 2 (Project Level), and Part 3 (Verification)—and aligns with global climate reporting frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, CDP, and TCFD.
Target Audience
Environmental and Sustainability Managers Climate Change and Carbon Consultants, Corporate Sustainability Officers, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Analysts, Energy Managers and Engineers, HSE and Compliance Professionals, Auditors and Verifiers, Organizations pursuing carbon neutrality or net-zero goals.
Course Benefits
· Understand and apply ISO 14064 standards for GHG management
· Quantify and report organizational or project-level emissions
· Improve credibility and transparency in climate disclosures
· Align with ESG and net-zero requirements
· Support internal or third-party GHG verification processes
· Enhance strategic planning for emissions reduction
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the structure and scope of ISO 14064 Parts 1, 2, and 3
2. Identify and quantify GHG sources, sinks, and reservoirs
3. Prepare credible GHG inventories using accepted methodologies
